I've been teaching Earth Science and Astronomy at Spotswood High School for over seven years and have been a teacher for over ten years.
I was born and raised on the coastal plain of Virginia. While salt water is in my blood, I love all that the beautiful Shenandoah Valley has to offer!
I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Earth & Environmental Science, with a second major in Philosophy from the University of Mary Washington.
I have additional post-graduate credits in Philosophy from the University of Georgia
I love the subjects I teach. Prior to teaching Earth Science, I held a variety of professional positions in the field of Earth Science and Natural Resource Management, including several years as a contractor for Fort A.P Hill.
Just prior to returning to Virginia, I taught Physical Science for three years in Athens, Georgia
Last, but certainly not least, I am husband to my wife, Laura, and a busy father of two little girls.
